NDM Formation

Formation of NDM: A New Beginning in Bangladeshi Politics The Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM) was founded by Bobby Hajjaj in 2017 as a response to the failure of traditional political parties to represent the people’s voice. After years of witnessing compromise, corruption, and silence in the name of politics, Bobby Hajjaj realized that a new platform was needed—one that would truly serve the people, not power.

NDM was not formed in boardrooms or party offices. It was born on the roads of Bangladesh—through years of walking, listening, and engaging with people from all walks of life. The struggles and dreams shared during the Shopner Desh movement laid the foundation for this new political party.

The official formation of NDM took place at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in Dhaka, where thousands of people from across the country gathered to witness the birth of a political alternative built on principles, not privilege. NDM stands for values that many believed were lost in Bangladeshi politics: integrity, transparency, accountability, and justice. It was built to give structure and strength to the unheard voices Bobby Hajjaj had connected with across the country.

This party is not built on legacy or wealth, but on principles. NDM represents a break from the politics of division, dynasty, and deals. It offers an honest alternative for citizens who want change based on ethics—not empty slogans. NDM is more than a party—it is a people’s movement shaped into an organized political force. It reflects the hopes of a generation that still believes in a fair, dignified, and democratic Bangladesh.
